To enlarge text

If necessary, you can enlarge the on-screen font on both the major browsers. In most cases, altering the font setting in your own browser will override any settings specified by a web page designer.

Netscape

  1. Select Options - General Preferences from the top menu bar

  2. In the Preferences window chose the Fonts tab

  3. Within the Fonts option use the proportional text option to set the font face and size for the main screen text. The fixed font size controls the size of input text in forms etc.

  4. When you have finished setting Font preferences, click OK to confirm your choices and close the dialogue box, or click Cancel to disregard all changes and exit.

Internet Explorer

  1. On the View menu on the top menu bar, click on Fonts.

  2. Click the font size you want - from smallest to largest.

  3. You can also change your font size by clicking the a-but.gif 0.2 Kfont button on the toolbar. This option will cycle the on-screen text through the various size options.
